The follow-up samples of mineral fibers have been completed. Research related to indoor air continues at Linnala school.

The re-measurements of mineral fibers in the indoor air of Linnala stone school were made on 22.1. – 5.2. in the period between, at a total of 12 collection points in classrooms and teachers' workspaces.

The purpose of the re-survey was to find out whether there have been changes in the fiber content of the premises' indoor air compared to the previous survey (2017).

In recent studies, no exceeding the action limit was found fiber amounts.

According to the results, no mineral wool fibers are released into the indoor air from ventilation, insulation or acoustic panels. The removal of fiber sources from ventilation and structures during the Christmas holidays in the stone buildings of Linnala school seems to have been successful.

Cleaning works at the school continue during the ski holiday. In this case, the storage rooms on the ground floor are emptied of unnecessary goods. By reducing the amount of goods and dust, the aim is to eliminate the factors that contribute to reducing indoor air quality.
