The tasks are intended to:
- for unemployed job seekers from Imatra who have been unemployed for over a year or are under 30 years old
- for partially able-bodied people from Imatra who have the opportunity for wage support
- for Imatra residents over 55 years old who have access to employment support for those aged 55 and over
The employment period is conditional on a commitment to skills development and job training, which support individuals towards the open labor market or education.
The people to be employed will be placed in various units in the city.
Jobs are available in, for example, early childhood education, outdoor area management and school centers. Education is not necessarily required, but in most jobs, a desire to learn new things is enough to start working. We support employed people individually in developing their skills and returning to work in the open labor market. Employment work at the city is fixed-term work and the person is paid a salary in accordance with the collective agreement.
Some of the applicants will be invited to an interview. The final personnel selection is made by the supervisor in the unit of the area of responsibility.
