Vuoksenniska is a commercial center where you can find the necessary daily goods and also a few specialty stores are located in the district.
On the east side of the area, on the shore of Lake Immola, there is a popular 18-hole golf course. Next to the Kaukopää factory is the old Lättälä residential area, which was built for the factory workers in 1934-36. The area was designed by architect Väinö Vähäkallio.
Vuoksenniska is home to the third of Imatra's churches, the so-called Three Crosses Church, designed by architect Alvar Aalto. The church was completed in 1958. The church is one of the most popular attractions in Imatra.
In Vuoksenniska you can find Imatra's only cinema Bio Vuoksi. A few years ago, the theater was renovated to its original appearance (the theater was completed in 1954). There are approximately 2 residents in Vuoksenniska. Most of them live in small apartment buildings or detached houses in the picturesque Vuoksenniska ridge area.
