Schoolchildren and students born in 2006 or older can apply for a summer job. You can also apply for internships for university students and thesis topics.

Summer workers are being sought for several positions in the city. The most places to apply for are in early childhood education. You can find a list of all available positions from the city's website.

The application period for school children's summer jobs ends on Friday 24.2.

- For some jobs, education in the field is considered an advantage, but there are also several positions that do not require prior studies and are therefore also suitable for schoolchildren, says the personnel expert Raisa Lepistö from the city of Imatra.

The internships are generally four weeks long and the working hours are 30 hours per week. The salary for the four-week period is EUR 899,49, to which is added holiday pay and compensation.

Summer jobs and thesis topics for university students

There are a total of five internship positions and three thesis topics to apply for. The application for these ends already on Friday 10.2.2023 February XNUMX.

- There is, among other things, an internship for building control, planning and communication open, Lepistö advises.

The salary of a university intern is determined according to the applicable municipal employment and collective agreement. Detailed information on open internships can be found from the city's website.

Compensation is paid to the student for completing the thesis after the work has been completed and approved.
