Nominate a participant and impact award recipient
The award is given for activities that develop Imatra's neighborhoods or, more broadly, Imatra or the city's services. When awarding the prize, the impact of the activity on community spirit and participation is emphasized.
Last year they received the award Timo Kallio and the Imatra Youth Chamber of Commerce.
- It would be great if we received plenty of proposals for the participants of the Participate and Influence award. Even if the suggested person does not receive an award, we will be happy to tell you who the public has suggested, because everyone who does volunteer work deserves a thank you, says the participation coordinator Heikki Laine.
Proposals for awardees must be sent by the end of April. In May, the proposals are discussed in the Participate and influence working group, which proposes the awardee to the city council, which makes the final decision.
