Days during the academic year when there is no teaching: 19.1., 30.4. and 19.5., unless otherwise agreed with the teacher.

There are a total of 34 - 35 teaching times during the school year. 

If Independence Day, Epiphany or May Day fall on a weekday, there will be no teaching.         

The Christmas and spring concerts and the Virta Festival are included in the teaching as listening education, meaning that students participate in the concerts as listeners and possibly as performers. 

In the academic year 26-27, during the Virta Workshop week, week 45 (2.-6.11.2026) There are no private music/singing lessons for students at the Imatra location, but each student chooses 1-3 workshops for that week to participate in.

Note! The deputy rector must be notified in writing at the latest about termination or a gap year in the fall semester by 13.8.2026 February XNUMX. A gap year or termination of the spring semester must be notified in writing By January 6, 2027. Notifications after the dates do not remove the obligation to pay the invoice.
