The use of the snow dump will be subject to a fee starting January 1, 2026. The usage fee in 2026 is €15 / load (VAT 0%).
Operators must enter into an agreement with the city for the use of the snow dump. A permit for the use of the snow dump is applied for through the Permit Point. You register at the Permit Point, after which you can begin applying for a permit.
In exchange for the agreement, the operator receives the necessary keys for 24/7 use of the area. Billing is based on the snow load. The monthly snow load must be reported to the city by email to city_infra
imatra.fi (city_infra[at]imatra[dot]fi).

Instructions for using the snow dump:
Only clean snow may be driven into the area. Snow containing debris or sand particles may not be driven into the area.
Filling the area starts from the back. Snow must not be left on walkways, gates and under power lines.
