Schools and preschool start in Imatra on Thursday, August 8.8.

On the first morning of school, students using the bus who received the transport benefit come to school with their own rides. During free public transport, school children also do not need a bus card. 
School taxi transportation is arranged for students covered by taxi transportation from the first day of school.

This is how schools and preschools start

In the school centers of Koski and Vuoksenniska, school work starts at nine, just like at Mansikkala elementary school. 

The first day of students at Mansikkala Middle School starts at 9.30 am. 

Preschool in the Koski, Mansikkala and Vuoksenniska areas starts earlier, i.e. at 8.30:XNUMX. 

In Imatra's joint upper secondary school, schooling starts in stages, so that students in the first grade start at 9.00:10.00 a.m. and others at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m.

— We have received a donation of attention vests from Auto-Kilta Oy, which turns 60 this year, for every student starting first grade, says the head of education and youth Minna Rovio from the city.

Attention vests will be distributed during August at each school center as a separate event.
