The presentations and schedule of the seminar have been planned for Hinkua Etelä Karjala! - according to the work packages of the project.

-- Canemure would have organized a seminar related to the same topics, and it was decided to cooperate so that the participants do not have to attend two similar seminars, Lappeenranta's climate coordinator Petri Kero says.

In order to organize coffee services, we would like to register from those coming to the place.

You can find more information and the schedule of the seminar in the event calendar.

Go to South Karelia! is a project promoting carbon neutrality and climate friendliness in rural areas, financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The project period is from spring 2020 to the end of 2022. The implementers are the regional environmental activities of Imatra and Lappeenranta.

The Canemure - Towards carbon-neutral municipalities and counties project promotes practical measures to curb climate change for six years, in 2018-2024. In addition to promoting practical climate actions, the project organizes training, creates cooperation networks and spreads good practices throughout Finland. 21 actors are involved in the project: municipalities and municipal organizations, research institutes and companies. A large part of the project's funding comes from the EU's Life program. The project is coordinated by the Finnish Environment Agency.
