In 2025, a whopping 751 spectators attended the performances.
– Of the seven additional performances in January 2026, six have already been sold out, so there was a need for additional performances, says the producer of the performance Emmi Korhonen.
The Stupid Girls are preparing for possible tour performances.
Teatteri Vaientamaton and Tympeät tytöt will be performed on the Pikku Hiisi stage of Teatteri Imatra until the sixth of February, after which the performance will prepare for possible tour performances.
– We want to bring the show to different locations and different performance venues, let's see what this year brings, Korhonen says excitedly.
The show is based on Riina Tanskanen's super popular The Girls: Class Pains comic books. The show deals with the intersections of the new economy and girlhood. The show explores, among other things, what it feels like to be a girl in remote areas, the phantom pains of a class skipper, and how girls grow up to do unpaid housework.
