Travel allowance for international trips of schoolchildren, students and young people

The grant is awarded for groups' performance and study trips abroad and is aimed at travel expenses. The grant can be applied for all year round.

The grant is discretionary. The amount of an individual grant is a maximum of 30% of the travel costs. The same group can only be granted a grant once during the year. 

The grant will be paid after the approved decision becomes legally binding, in accordance with the information provided in the application.

Obligations of the grant recipient 

Increasing the positive awareness of Imatra and verifying the trip, e.g. through photographs or social media. 

Imatra City Marketing will provide you with Imatra marketing material to distribute on the trip.
