Submission of candidate applications for municipal elections

ANNOUNCEMENT

NOMINATION OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION CANDIDATES IN IMATRA

In the combined regional and municipal elections to be held on April 13, 2025, 43 councilors of the Imatra City Council will be elected for the council term 2025–2029.

Candidate applications for the municipal elections submitted to the Central Election Board of the City of Imatra in accordance with Sections 152–156 of the Election Act are received by the chairman and secretary of the Central Election Board. According to the law, candidate applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

Application deadline
Candidate applications, as well as any notification of an electoral alliance and joint list, with the necessary attachments, must be submitted to the Imatra Central Election Board. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM At Imatra City Hall, address Virastokatu 2, 55100 Imatra.
