Business and Urban Environment Board

The Business and Urban Environment Board is responsible for the operation of the city's business and land use and urban environment responsibility areas.

In addition, the board acts as a commissioning board in relation to companies 100% owned by the city, and is responsible for the following tasks that belong to the municipality according to the current legislation or services that otherwise fall under its area of ​​responsibility:

• land property management, acquisition, renting and transfer
• land use and zoning
• location information
• the built environment owned by the city (streets, networks, parks, playgrounds, outdoor sports venues, harbors and other public areas);
• nature environment owned by the city
• water supply
• the city's task of supervising the rental apartments defined in the legislation
• represents the city in accordance with the public transport cooperation agreement
• represents the city in relation to provincial employment and immigration services
• tasks of promoting the city's livelihoods
• the tasks of the city's own employment management
• housing policy, housing policy program and housing policy statements
• parking control
• economic forests.

Until December 31.12.2024, XNUMX, the board operated as the urban development board.
