Imatra offers its employees a bicycle benefit

The city of Imatra offers its employees an employee bicycle benefit. This means that in the future the employee can take part of his salary as a bicycle benefit.

An agreement has been made with the GoByBike.fi service for company bikes. All permanent office holders and employees are now entitled to purchase bike from the store you want to a GoByBike employee bike. 

In practice, the arrangement is implemented so that the bicycle is rented for own use and the employee undertakes to redeem the bicycle for himself after the rental period.

─ In this way, we want to support the movement of personnel, and at the same time, the employee bicycle fits well with the city's carbon neutrality goals, personnel expert Kaisa-Mari Käyhkö says.

An employee bicycle does not require the employee to travel to workyou on a bike. The bicycle benefit covers both standard bicycles and electrically assisted bicycles.
