Anna Hanski completes the ensemble of the musical Life behind the window

Artists Anna Glove will be seen on the stage of Teatteri Imatra in the spring performances of the musical Life through the window. Hanski plays the role of Amalia Nieminen in the musical.

He joins the work group at a fast pace and will be participating in training as early as Wednesday. The last minute change in Ensemble is due to an accident, due to which the original actor of the role has to leave the role.

— Now it's exciting, but in a good way. There are many new things to learn. However, I believe that I will learn quickly as long as I get to actually practice with a group, Hanski says.

He is looking forward not only to getting on stage, but also to getting to know Imatra and the Imatra theater audience.

—I've been to Imatra and, among other things, once descended along the cable car over Imatrankoski. I am not familiar with the theater, but I have followed the theater's activities. The house has a very positive atmosphere.

A long-time entertainer

Anna Hanski started her career at the age of 17. During his more than 30-year career, he has sung, recorded and acted.

Hanski's most famous songs have played on the radio for decades. He is still a gigging artist as his main job and an actor whose voice can also be heard in several commercials.

Hanski has played versatile roles in theaters as well. Most recently, he has been attached to the theater in Rauma and several summer theaters. He also runs his own theater restaurant.

Theater manager, musical director Timo Rissanen warmly welcomes Hanski to Imatra.

The premiere has been awaited for a year

The musical "Life behind the window" was written by Teatteri Imatra Eppu Nuotio. The work is based on the music of Leevi and the Leavings and several of the band's songs are heard in it.

According to the original schedule, the premiere of the musical was supposed to be in the winter of 2021. Due to the corona pandemic, the premiere has already had to be postponed four times.
