Many adult groups at Virta school will start next week

The corona team of the city of Imatra outlined on Thursday (20.1.) that the face-to-face teaching of adult groups at Virta school can mainly start next Monday, 24.1. with some exceptions.

Adult exercise, dance, singing and choir groups have not yet started their activities.

─ In these groups, the risk of infection is greater and therefore we considered it safe for health to keep the mentioned groups on a break, head of the culture and learning center Sarianna Purtilo says.

In addition, for some other teaching groups, the arrangements are modified so that the risk of infection can be minimized.

The teaching groups for adults have been on hiatus due to the corona situation at the beginning of the year.

Children's groups continue

The children's hobby groups started at the beginning of January and they continue as before.

Virta-opisto still informs adult students about lessons via text messages.
