UPDATED: There is a leak in the district heating network on Einonkatu

A leak appeared in the district heating network on Sunday, December 5.12. in the evening at Einonkatu 10.

Due to the leak, the rescue service closed Einonkatu to traffic between Olavinkatu and Helsingintie. A column of steam rose to the street at the leak site.

During the repairs, the valves of the district heating network had to be closed, which meant the remoteinterruption of heat distribution at Einonkatu 10 and Helsingintie 7. Heat distribution was restored to these properties at eight in the evening.

The repair was completed at night around 01.00:XNUMX. After that, Kipa sanded the road on which the water that had flowed had frozen.
