Producer Liisa Palmroth is satisfied with the Imatra week: "A big thank you to everyone!"

Last week, Yle Draama filmed the spy comedy series Itämeri unit in Imatra.

The days were sunny but sweaty, says the producer Liisa Palmroth.

- A lot of water, sunscreen and antacid have been used up. Despite the heat, everything has gone really well.

Palmroth thanks the people of Imatra for the warm welcome: the work group has been welcomed everywhere in the city and the shooting arrangements have gone excellently.

He gives special thanks to the assistants who participated in Thursday's mass filming. About 150 assistants were involved in the filming on Thursday.

- Everyone managed to participate really well, and the enthusiastic atmosphere remained the whole day. A big thank you to everyone!

On Saturday, we still filmed on the old bridge of Mansikkakos

Filming of the Baltic unit continued in Imatra on Saturday 17.7 July, when filming was done on the old bridge of Mansikkakoski. Due to filming, the bridge was closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 14 p.m.

The work on the series continues even after the filming of Imatra. It will be ready during this year and the final result will be seen on Yle channels next year.
