The measurement of the water temperature at Imatra's beaches has started

The summer vacation season has started with warm signs, and the beaches are attracting vacationers.

The city of Imatra has started measuring the water temperatures of the four city-maintained swimming beaches. The water temperature of the swimming beaches of Immalanliette, Rauti, Lempuka and Ukonlinna is now monitored weekly and the warming of the waters is updated to the city's website.

At the beginning of June, the temperatures were still moderate, but the warm weather at the beginning of summer in Takuu also accelerates the warming of the lake waters. On June 3.6.2021, 13, the water temperature at the swimming beaches has varied between +14 and +XNUMX °C.
