In the future, the main library will also be open in the morning as self-service.

Corona restrictions will be partially lifted next week in Imatra for cultural facilities. The city museum opens its doors on Monday, May 3.5. and the Corridor gallery on Tuesday 4.5. You can get to know their offer from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 18 pm.

The city museum has a Katse katukuvaaan exhibition from Imatra. You can experience an audiovisual experience in the hallway gallery Sonja Pöyhiän, By Inka Nordlund ja Heikki Pöyhiän At the Let loose exhibition.

Instead, the art museum is setting up a new exhibition, which is why the museum will open its doors on Friday, May 7.5. Then it's Sihtola's Imatra -collections, i.e. 1900th century art.

A two-hour self-service period for the main library's opening hours

The opening of museums also affects the main library. The main library will return to normal opening hours.

From Monday 3.5. from 9 o'clock you can get to the main library. The first two hours (9-11 a.m.) are self-service time, i.e. the doors are open, but borrowing takes place only at the machine. From Monday to Friday, 11 am to 18 pm are normal service hours.

No more than 10 people are allowed in the library and museums at any one time. A strong mask recommendation also applies to these premises. It is still hoped that the libraries will do business quickly due to the corona epidemic.
