Imatra has more than a rapid

Release
27.3.2021 21:56
The city appears again on the front page of Helsingin Sanomat.

Imatra wants to be seen and heard. That's why the city published today, Sunday 28.3. on the front page of the country's leading newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat, a reminder that Imatra has more than a rapid. Marketing is aimed at both tourists and migrants.

Behind the campaign is the city's marketing company Imatra Base Camp.

The need to increase Imatra's awareness and change its image is based on research results. Imatrankoski and Valtionhotelli are best known from Imatra. Now we want to expand this perception and tell about the city's many possibilities, marketing manager Katri Storhammar says.

In addition to Helsingin Sanomat's paper and digital front pages, the campaign appears as targeted marketing via Google, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. One part of online marketing is the new video.

In the city's marketing strategy for 2021-2023, the idea is that in addition to smaller campaigns throughout the year, there should be one larger visibility campaign for each year. Already in 2020, the city was visible in the national media with Finland's largest tree school.
