The people of Imatra get to know the candidates for mayor, to Ari Lindeman ja Kaisa to Heino via online chat.
The event will be held on Maundy Thursday, April 1.4. at 17-18. Candidates for mayor are examined by the chairman of the council Niina Malm and chairman of the city council Anna Helminen.
They ask the applicants questions sent by the people of Imatra.
Questions and comments can also be written during the event via the chat program.

The search for a mayor takes a good two months
By the deadline, 16 people applied for the position of mayor of Imatra. Five of them were interviewed.
Two of the interviewees have a master's degree in law Kaisa Heino and Master of Business Administration Ari Lindeman was chosen to continue. They undergo a personal assessment.
After the municipal debate, in week 14 the council groups get to test the candidates.
The board will discuss the selection on 19.4. and the council will make a final decision on 26.4. Therefore, the application process will take a good two months.
It is hoped that the new mayor will take office next fall. Current mayor Kai Roslakka goes on vacation at that time and then retires.
