After the winter vacation, the co-educational high school will switch to distance learning for two weeks

After the winter break, Imatra's joint high school will switch to distance learning. Distance education is given from 8.3 March to 22.3 March.

The purpose is to secure the success of matriculation exams and their safe organization.

- We want to minimize possible corona exposure for both students and staff after the winter vacation. This is also how we ensure that teachers can participate in the arrangements and supervision of matriculation essays, principal Mika Strömberg says.

A large number of students will participate in the graduation essays on Tuesday 16.3., Friday 19.3. and on Monday 22.3. The high school has already ruled that during the first week of writing, the other students will be in distance learning, so that the writings can be organized in larger spaces.

Students have the opportunity to pick up food rations during distance learning from March 8.3 to March 19.3. Portions are distributed from the Sukkulakadu central kitchen on Mondays and Wednesdays from 13:15 to XNUMX:XNUMX. The pick-up point is at the loading dock and there is a traffic controller.
