In the music college, classroom teaching continues

The courses for adults at the Norwegian University of Applied Sciences are carried out remotely as far as possible. Libraries are open with certain restrictions.

The music school will start in Imatra after the epiphany as usual as a face-to-face teaching. Current corona recommendations are taken into account in the teaching.

The working college, on the other hand, will continue until the end of January as distance learning in those groups where it is possible. The exception to this are children's groups. In the children's groups of the Labor College, teaching continues as face-to-face teaching (dance and basic art education).

The University of Labor informs students by group about the start of the term.

Mask recommendation in libraries

The libraries will continue to operate normally, so that the main library's magazine room and other living and working spaces will be out of use due to the corona virus. Lending operations continue as normal.

In libraries, customers have a mask recommendation. The staff serves at the counter from behind protective glass and elsewhere the staff also has a mask recommendation. It is hoped that the loans will be processed as quickly as possible. In these circumstances, the library is not a living space.

Museums will continue to operate as normal.

We hope that everyone remembers the general corona recommendations so that we can continue to keep the facilities open, head of the culture and learning center Sarianna Purtilo appeals to.

The next concert bookings for Kulttuuritalo Virta are for February. They will be announced later.
