Matriculates return to classroom teaching after the epiphany at Imatra

Local education also applies to IB upper secondary school and Eastern Finland school matriculants, as well as second-year students for secondary school courses. High school courses for dual degree entrants are also organized as face-to-face teaching.

Due to the corona epidemic, first- and second-year high school students will continue distance learning after the epiphany on Thursday. According to the current information, distance learning for them will continue until the end of January in accordance with the recommendation of the provincial corona situation group.

Masks are recommended for all high school students and staff when teaching and staying on the school premises.

Already on Monday, the city announced that basic education will continue as face-to-face education according to the timetable on 7.1.

Food distribution for students of the 1st and 2nd year of high school

Matriculation students are offered food in the Mansikkala school center as usual.

Students in the first and second year of upper secondary school who are in distance education are offered the opportunity to pick up food portions from the Sukkulakadu central kitchen. The portions are available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 13:15 to XNUMX:XNUMX. Two doses are given on Monday and three on Wednesday.

Those who want the portions should reply by Thursday morning 7.1. by 8 o'clock for participating in the food distribution. The registration link will be sent today, Tuesday, via Wilma to first- and second-year students and guardians.

Post-registrations cannot be accepted, because the raw material orders for food portions are made immediately on Thursday morning.

Everyone who wants food portions must answer this food questionnaire, old registrations will not be taken into account.
