Imatra outlined a few strictures to the corona guidelines.

The corona situation has tightened in Imatra with new infections. On Thursday, December 17.12, the corona group of the city of Imatra has outlined some tightening of the guidelines.

Masks for adults in schools

Adults in primary education are recommended to wear masks until the Christmas holidays in all schools in Imatra from tomorrow 18.12. from

We will come back to possible broader mask recommendations after tomorrow's provincial snapshot group. The group is supposed to deal with the situation of the corona epidemic in the province.

Youth facilities closed

Youth service facilities will be closed starting today (17.12) in Imatra due to the risk of infection.

The personnel of the youth services work with young people. More information about youth services will be provided in the coming days via the city's website and social media.

Music college for distance learning

The music school will switch to distance learning from tomorrow, Friday 18.12. from until Christmas.

The college has already instructed students about distance education.
