Corona restrictions for Imatra libraries 3.12. from

Due to the accelerating phase of the corona epidemic, the Imatra city library is also canceling all its December events. Philosophy cafe, chess club, digital counseling and reading circle are not organized.

The library's lending operations will continue for the time being. Service and self-employment hours remain unchanged. Visitors are strongly advised to wear a face mask. In addition, the library recommends making reservations in advance to speed up transactions on site.

Newspaper reading rooms and other lounges will be taken out of use at all locations, as customers' longer stays in libraries are not recommended. Group visits will not be organized, and all customer space reservations will be cancelled. The main library's digitization workshop, youth cave, living room and music room are out of use. The main library's newsroom doors are kept closed, so please use the main door downstairs.

The computers are currently in use in the nearby libraries in Rajapatsa and Vuoksenniska. Use time is limited to 30 minutes. The main library's computers are completely out of use. You can use the computer at the city hall's customer service desk during its opening hours.

We prefer self-service and electronic transactions. Renewing loans, making reservations and paying payments are possible in the online library. You can call the libraries during service hours or send an email.

Don't come to the library if you have corona symptoms!
