On Monday, Imatra's joint high school will return to classroom teaching

Based on the information at the moment, Imatra co-ed high school will return to classroom teaching on Monday. The exposed student's corona test result was negative.

The high school switched to distance learning on Thursday as a precautionary measure by the city. Distance learning will continue through Friday, as previously announced.

─ I am satisfied that the city made a decision on distance education as a precaution. Hopefully, this reminds us that the situation can deteriorate quickly and that readiness for unusual teaching arrangements must be maintained. Each of us must take responsibility for our own health and the health of our loved ones by remembering to continue to follow the recommendations to minimize risks, principal of the joint high school Mika Strömberg says.
