Imatra is looking for a restaurant owner for Kulttuuritalo Virta and the town hall

The service provider is granted exclusive rights to catering for meetings and events.

The operator is selected for two years, after which the city can extend the contract for another two years without a new tender.

Kultuuritalo Virra producer Juha Leskinen according to which the tender is being held because the service contract of the current suppliers is coming to an end at the end of the year.

- Of course, we also want the operator to develop and enliven Virta and also other areas with their own activities. 

Kulttuuritalo Virra is visited by more than 200 visitors every year, and under normal conditions, around a hundred events are organized there, with interim service. 

Imatra's town hall, on the other hand, hosts around a hundred town meetings each year, which require meeting catering. In addition to this, other events are organized at the town hall.

Development and employment coordinator Circus Sarlomo says that the contract does not oblige to organize the lunch catering currently offered at the town hall. 

- It is still possible to organize it if the restaurateur so wishes, he states.

Catering services should follow the trends in their field and offer their customers high-quality content. When choosing a service provider, qualitative criteria decide the choice with a weight of 35 percent, and the price decides the remaining 65 percent.

Offers must be submitted by 11.12.2020 December 12.00. at 1.1.2021:XNUMX. by. The new entrepreneur is scheduled to start operations on January XNUMX, XNUMX.
