Tickets can also be bought from machines and online. There will be no changes to the opening hours of the sports facilities.

The opening hours of the Imatra swimming hall and the ticket office of the sports hall will change from 1.11.2020 November XNUMX. The opening hours of the sports facilities will remain unchanged.

In the future, the ticket office will be open as follows:

  • on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m
  • on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.30:17 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m
  • closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

When the ticket office is closed, tickets can be bought from the ticket machines in the lobby of the sports hall and online. Instructions and a link to the online store can be found here: https://www.imatra.fi/verkkokauppa. Guidance on how to use the sports hall's ticket machines is available at the sports hall.

The reason behind the change is the development of digital services and cost reasons.

- The operational reliability of the ticket machines has improved and their use has increased to such an extent that we can do away with the cashier's local services during quiet times, head of welfare services Arja Kujala says.

Help from the facility manager if needed

The city is in contact with the sports clubs operating at the sports hall and instructs the members of the clubs and other users of the sports hall.

- For children and young people, it is worth getting series tickets for user fees, advises Kujala.

The administrator is there during the opening hours of the sports hall and the swimming hall, also when the ticket office is closed. You can ask him for help, for example, if there are technical problems with ticket machines or electronic gates during evenings and weekends.

The facility manager's workplace is in the lobby ticket office in the evenings and weekends.

Unauthorized use of the premises is prevented by camera surveillance. Users who travel without paying will be charged a penalty fee. If the unauthorized use is related to team or group sports, contact the person in charge of the team.

- In the extreme, the result can be the cancellation of the hobby shift. However, I strongly believe that all users know how to act according to the instructions, says Kujala.
