The water from the Hiekkoinlahti groundwater intake is in use again

The water quality meets the requirements set for household water.

The pipe from the Hiekkoinlahti groundwater intake at the bottom of Lake Immalan broke on Wednesday, September 9.9.2020, 20.00 at around 11.9.2020:XNUMX, after which the facility switched to using surface water. The pipe was repaired on Friday XNUMX September XNUMX, after which pipe flushing, sampling and laboratory analyzes were started.  

The water quality results met all the requirements set for domestic water in the examined parts, and the Hiekkoinlahti groundwater intake is in normal use again.
