The children of Vuoksenniska daycare center and Mansikkala and Imatrankoski daycare centers moved to new premises

The decommissioned Vuoksenniska daycare center and the Imatrankoski and Mansikkala daycare centers will be demolished. In the center, the name of the Imatrankoski daycare center will be preserved, when the daycare center moves to the premises of the current Mikonpuisto. 

Director of Tainionkoski kindergarten and pre-school education in the Mansikkala area Airi Kojo says that on Tuesday there are still less than 30 kindergarten children and school children at the Mansikkala school center and some of the staff are still on vacation. However, a calm start is necessary because everything is new.

- The goods and furniture are still looking for a place and the staff is thinking about operational practices and cooperation patterns. Customers are informed a lot. They ask and call.

Although the staff has enthusiasm and enthusiasm for the change and the children have new adults and places, the children are primarily taken care of.

- The focus is on taking good care of the children and trying to make them feel safe. Kojo emphasizes.
