Imatra's local traffic is being developed with new equipment, which is being tested by the pilot group.

New Ridango-branded equipment has been installed on local buses since spring reforming the ticket system in connection with. The new devices recognize the place based on the location data, and the name of the next stop is announced to the bus passengers automatically. The texts scrolling on the screen also tell the next stop. Bus card reading devices acclamation renewed and support cards and QR codes.

Municipal participants who test and comment on current reforms were recruited for the project's piloting group.


- All applicants have been selected for the pilot phase. Group members will be sent instructions and bus tickets by letter in early July, says Pohjola.
