AVI supports Imatra's new sports facilities

​​​​​​​The Regional Administrative Agency of Southern Finland (AVI) has granted Imatra a total of 210 euros in grants for the construction of sports facilities.

The grant was granted to Ukonniemi tennis courts, Kostinpuisto and Linnala field.

Three new tennis courts will be completed in Ukonniemi next to the tennis hall in June. The cost estimate for these three is a total of 182 euros. The subsidy covers 000 euros. In addition to this, a padel court will be built next to the courts by decision of the city government.

Kostinpuisto is being turned into a local exercise place for schoolchildren and leisure users of Mansikkala. There will be a small sand artificial grass and various sports equipment. In winter, there is also an ice rink in the area. This year's project costs for Kostinpuisto are 370 euros, of which the grant covers 000 euros.

Linnala will have an artificial turf field and venues for athletics as well as game arenas. The field is coming to the use of Mansikkala school center and enthusiasts. The cost estimate for the field is 490 euros, of which the contribution is 000 euros.
