Disruptive works at Imatra in the following weekends

The excavation works for the construction of the Luumäki-Imatra double track will cause disturbances in the next two weekends, i.e. 23.5 from 17 to 24.5. at 13 pm and 30.5. from 17:31.5 to 13. between XNUMX p.m. Excavation works are carried out on the railway section, which is located in the area between Korvenkannantie and Tainionkoskentie. Work is carried out on the track section during train service interruptions, also at night. 

Disturbances are caused by mining-related drilling and blasting, earthmoving traffic and compaction of fills. Earth is driven from the construction site to Sienimäki to the Jauhosienkuja land clearing area. The route goes through Asemäentie, Tainionkoskentie and Tornansilla to Sienimäki. 

Traffic will be stopped outside the dangerous area for the duration of the blasts.
