On the museum side, we will return to everyday life in June

The Art Museum, the City Museum and the Corridor Gallery are open in June from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 17 pm and from July from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 18 pm. In May, the museums are still closed.

The Art Museum is on display from June 1.6 to July 24.7. Imatran taidey's own collections, i.e. worksfrom the hdist's collection. Included are, among other things Unto Pusa, Sam Vanni, Aimo Tukiainen and members of the art association.

The exhibition is the 75th anniversary exhibition of the Imatra art association.

You can admire it in the hallway gallery Hanna Mangström textile works and jewelry from the beginning of June 25.6. until. It's July Ritva Ruopan paintings, graphics and clay works.

 A trip to the past

In the city museum, you can familiarize yourself with the phases of Imatra in the years 1948-1970. The exhibition is an interesting dive into past decades for people of all ages.

Due to the corona situation, the Industrial Workers' Housing Museum will only open in July. It is open from 14.7 to 23.8. from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 17 p.m.

There will also be a video-assisted architectural cycling for the summer, which everyone can cycle around when it suits them best and watch the video guides on the sites via phone.

The city of Imatra hopes that those who visit the museums observe safety intervals and take care of hand hygiene.
