In Imatra, school is held for all classes mainly in accordance with the timetable, following the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Institute of Health and Welfare, the Regional Administration Office and

instructions given by the Board of Education. During the school day, the students are mainly in their own class so that there are as few encounters as possible. An activity in a school or early childhood education is not a general meeting or public event according to the Assembly Act. Possible gathering restrictions do not apply to the activity.

Space in the canteen is increased by staggered meal shifts and other arrangements. Outdoor activities and camping in the surrounding area are added to school days.

Afternoon activities continue as before. Registration for the afternoon activity takes place on Friday, May 8.5. by text message to the afternoon activity phone of each location.

Hygiene and cleanliness are taken care of in accordance with the instructions given by THL. Hands are washed and disinfected every time when entering and leaving school and when eating.

You only come to school completely healthy. If a student falls ill during the school day, the school will immediately contact the guardian and send the student home.

In pre-primary and basic education, the student must participate in education, unless he has been granted a temporary exemption for a special reason.

Permission to be absent must always be applied for and the school will consider whether there are grounds for granting the permission. The permit is applied for in Wilma with a leave application. For example, illness or the pupil or his family member belonging to a risk group from the point of view of the risk of infection is an acceptable reason for absence. Belonging to a risk group is based on the treating doctor's assessment of the person's situation.

The school centers will inform guardians and students about the program of the last school weeks and matters related to the distribution of certificates separately with a Wilma message in the coming days

 In basic education, school work ends on May 30.5.2020, XNUMX. In order to avoid the risk of infection, schools do not organize end-of-year celebrations according to normal time.
