Harrastakotona.fi is an online hobby site aimed at children and young people. The site offers versatile activities and art and cultural experiences easily and free of charge.

Harstaskotona.fipages have instructions and ideas produced by professionals for experimenting and practicing art. For the easy-to-use pages, art-making has been chosen, ranging from parkour to circus and from cartoons to dance. The child can explore the pages alone or with a parent. The contents of the pages can also be used in distance education. The website also includes performance recordings, virtual visits and a calendar showing upcoming live stream performances. The pages are produced in Finnish and Swedish.

The habhavakotona.fi website, which will be published on Friday 24.4.2020 April XNUMX, has been created so that children, young people and families can find fun things to do and opportunities to experience and try art even in exceptional circumstances. Supporting the well-being of children and families and a balanced everyday life are also the starting points of the national cooperation network behind the project. The website has been produced by the Association of Finnish Children's Cultural Centers, Culture Center PiiPoo and Children's Culture Center Verso in cooperation with several different children's culture centers.

Content is produced by e.g. Finnish children's culture centers, basic art education institutions, art educators, art institutions, media houses and artists. The site is constantly looking for new content from all fields of art, and you can suggest them directly on the website. The Harrasta koten team familiarizes themselves with all the content in advance and makes sure that it is suitable for children and young people. The links lead to the websites of different publishers, and each content producer is responsible for their own content.
