Kehyla service voucher for companies for business development.

The city has invited a local entrepreneur organization to plan how the city could do its part to support entrepreneurs during the corona virus.

─ At this point, it doesn't make sense to start from the city hall to find out which help would be best, versus the city manager Kaisa Heino says.

Its city group has already outlined that payment schedule changes can be negotiated with entrepreneurs who have encountered sudden payment difficulties, for example regarding rents.

─ In addition, the city can consider bringing forward some purchases from local companies. The new procurement methods also make it possible for even a small entrepreneur to participate in the city's purchases very flexibly.

Kehy also serves in the evenings and on Saturdays

Imatran Regional Development Company (Frame) has already made changes to its own services last week in order to support entrepreneurs as well as possible in daily life with the corona virus.

We quickly targeted human resources to serve companies in an acute crisis situation. Opening hours were also extended during the week to seven in the evening and Saturday (9 am to 16 pm). 50 company visits were made last week alone, Kehy's CEO Antti Oravuo says.

We are now actively asking for help. Oravuo says that Kehy has already made several applications with companies for Business Finland's funding applications that opened last week.

Quarantine shop

At the end of last week, Karanteenikauppa.fi was also opened. It is a free service offered by Kehy for local entrepreneurs. Instead of traditional business registers, the karanteenikauppa.fi website offers entrepreneurs visibility and at the same time customers an easy way to find exactly those local products and services that can be delivered directly to the home.

─ Karanteenikauppa.fi works in such a way that the entrepreneur gets his own credentials by logging into the site, with which he can add his own products, services or offers there. Customers can find all the products together, and trading takes place through the companies' own websites.

Kehy is ready to help companies create their product cards on the site. On the Karanteenikauppa.fi website you can also find good instructions for companies on how to add their own account as well as a product.

Help in making funding applications

Kehy grants service vouchers to the company for the acquisition of external expertise for the development of operations.

─ It's good to take this into account now in the corona era, advises Oravuo.

In order to receive a service voucher, the company's development need must be defined, and it can be, for example, renewing the company's website, organizing home delivery services or creating an online store.

The condition for granting support is that the company's financial situation enables the development goals to be realized.

Support is granted for a maximum of 1500 euros per year per company, however, a maximum of 50 percent of the expert fees paid by the company.

Kehy has annually budgeted 30 euros for the service voucher.

You can apply for a service voucher by making an agreement with Kehy's business expert. The decision to issue a service voucher is made by Kehy's CEO.
