About 15 children return to local education in Imatra

Only a few of the distance students eat at school.

In Imatra, according to the policy made by the country's government on Friday, about five schoolchildren in each school center will return to classroom teaching. The government stated that all students in grades 1-3 can return from distance education to the nearby school, but this is not recommended due to the risk of corona infection.

─ It's great that the parents followed the recommendation so well, head of educational services Minna Rovio says.

All in all, there are a total of 12-15 students in close education in Mansikkala, 15 in Koski school center and 15 in Vuoksenniska.

Out of distance students, only 7 schoolchildren in the entire city area go to eat.

The city of Imatra made a survey to the parents of small school children on the weekend about close-knit teaching. The response time ended on Monday at noon.
