The return home stretches late into the night. The second bus just returned home.

The students and teachers of Mansikkala school and Imatra joint high school who were involved in the bus fire in Kuopio are still being examined at the Kuopio University Hospital. The inspection is a precautionary measure. Based on the current information, no one should be injured.

After the hospital examination, the students return home to Imatra at night on a new bus.

The Pohjois Savo rescue service reports that the fire was probably caused by a bearing fault, which heated up the tire and caused the fire. According to both the rescue authorities and the police, the young people were quickly evacuated from the car.

The return home stretches into the night. The city of Imatra, in cooperation with the South Karelia social and health district (Eksote), organizes crisis assistance for travelers right from the moment they return home. Dismantling the topic will continue the next day.

Another bus that transported students from Mansikkala middle school and high school has just arrived back in Imatra. The schoolchildren were on a day's skiing trip in Tahko.
