Vuoksenniska school center dedication ceremony

Friday 29.11. the inauguration of Vuoksenniska's new school center was celebrated. State Councilor Riitta Uosukainen gave the celebratory speech, City Mayor Kai Roslakka gave the welcome speech, and Anu Urpalainen, chairman of the Welfare Board, cut the ribbon. Kimmo Hartikainen, the architect who designed the new school, Jarkko Liutu, the artist who created the artwork for the yard, and Mari Routti, the project manager, were honored at the party. 

The school's students were responsible for the rest of the party's program. The students had also prepared the pastries served at the party and handled the coffee service.
