Ensilumenlatu track situation

Starting tomorrow, the track will have to be shortened, but the cross-country skiing section will be maintained.

As the weather warms, the snow cover of Ensilumenlatu has thinned. Today, Wednesday, it will be possible to keep the track in its entirety still in skiing condition. Starting tomorrow, there may be restrictions on the track on the Kylpylä section, meaning parts of the track will have to be closed.

- We will keep the racetrack open in any case, but we may have to put barrier strips on the part of the track towards the Spa, says the sports venue manager Jani Niittynen From Imatra real estate and regional service Oy. 

The length of the race is about three kilometers. Next week there will be frost, so it is possible that the snow will allow us to do more then.
