Eastern Finland School and Koske Unified Elementary School operate in the Koske school center. The new Koske school center will consist of the already renovated Lyseo school building and two new buildings. The second new building is the so-called main school built for permanent use, and the second new building is a space element rented for longer-term use.
According to the plans, the students of Meltola and Imatrankoski vocational schools will move to the school center in the fall of 2021. The language classes of years 1-6 will move to Koski in the fall of 2019 and the language classes of years 7-9 in the fall of 2020.
The architectural design of the school center will be carried out during the spring of 2019 and construction will begin in the fall of 2019. The new main school will be completed in the summer of 2021. The new space element will be put into use for the premises that will be used by the Koske school already in the fall of 2019.
