The buyer is building new accommodation facilities.

The city of Imatra has sold a plot of land in Ukonniemi to Oy Saimaa Life Ltd, a company to be established. The plot is located at Kohonkankaantie 92, on the north side of Saimaa Life's current accommodation buildings. In the valid site plan, the plot is an area of ​​buildings serving tourism, where holiday share buildings and related garage buildings can be placed.

The purpose of the buyer of the plot is to build an accommodation facility of three terraced houses on the plot. The destination will be a new type of accommodation that Imatra does not currently offer. The site is very close to Ukonniemi's sports facilities.

Apartments for 2-8 people will be built in three townhouses on the plot, and the buildings are estimated to be completed next summer. The building permit is pending.
