The usage fee, which is based on the amount of water you use, and the basic fee, which is a fixed monthly fee for each water meter.
The basic fee covers the costs of using and maintaining the water supply network.
The invoicing of Imatra Water is based on estimatefor invoicing. The estimate is made on the basis of the annual consumption estimate received/updated in connection with the equalization reading. Water consumers must notify water billing of all changes related to water and wastewater billing, such as changes in name, address, owner, or consumer, or issues related to water use, such as a decrease/increase in the number of people.
Small consumers: Water bills come to small consumers four times a year. Invoices are made after the fact, i.e. for example, the invoice for January, February, March comes in April around mid-month (around 15-16 days). It is possible to receive water bills in real time, i.e. according to actual consumption. For this purpose, the customer can report the reading of his water meter himself at the end of the billing period, i.e. at the end of March, June, September and December. The reading at the end of the month must be reported by the fourth (4) day of the following month at the latest, so the reading can be invoiced in time.
Large consumers: Water bills come to large consumers every month. Invoices are made after the fact, so the January invoice comes around the middle of February. It is possible to receive water bills in real time, i.e. according to actual consumption. For this, the customer must report the reading of the last day of the month by the fourth (4) day of the following month at the latest, so that the reading can be invoiced in time.

Invoicing forms
As a general rule, we deliver water bills as a paper bill by post, unless the customer has agreed otherwise with his bank.
You can change your paper invoice to an e-invoice in your online bank. Serve as opening information customer and consumption point numbers, which you will receive on your bill.
Direct payment customers should contact their own bank and agree on opening/terminating a direct payment customer there.
