The street lights may be dark in the evening

Some of the street lights are dark due to a power surge

There are faults in the street light network around Vuoksi and Mehiläimäki.

On the east side of Vuoksi, in the area from Koske school to Mehiläimäki, some of the streets and bike paths are dark. There has been a surge in the network, which has damaged several street light centers and the connecting devices of the LED lamps in the area. The fault is currently being repaired and the lights are being repaired as soon as possible. The lights on the bike path near Sulkukuja are also not lit.  

"Unfortunately, replacing the ballasts for the LED lights on the bike path near the closed alley takes more time because spare parts have to be ordered," says the technical property manager Heikki Varis from Mitra Imatra Rakennuttaja Oy.

In addition, part of Tainionkoskentie and the bike path running along the Vuoksi rampart between Imatrankoski and Urheilutalo is dark. The problem is currently being investigated.
