This is a precautionary measure before the final examinations are completed, so far no bacteria have been detected.

In Ahovuokonkujja, the broken water pipe has been repaired and the network is being flushed. Water samples have been taken from the area and the first results have been completed. No coliform bacteria have been detected in the water. The rest of the tests will be completed on Monday.
Until all the research results are completed, all drinking water and water used for cooking in Ahovuokonkujja must still be boiled for 5 to 10 minutes. Tap water can be used as washing water normally.
Imatran Vesi supplies the residents of the area with drinking water upon request. You can inquire about water deliveries from network master Kari Mäkelälä (phone number at the end of this bulletin).
The next announcement will be made on July 8.7.2019, 11.00 at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. Monday's next bulletin can be read on the city of Imatra's website at www.imatra.fi;
The water in other areas is impeccable.
