National Veterans Day will be celebrated at Teatteri Imatra on April 27.4.2019, XNUMX

The Veteran's Day celebration is organized in Imatra Theater in Imatra (Note: changed location) on Saturday 27.4. Coffee service for those coming to the party starts at 12.00:13.00 in the Teater's cafeteria. After this, at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., we move to the theater hall for the actual programmatic celebration. 

At the event, the deputy commander of the Border Guard of Southeast Finland, Lieutenant Colonel Juha Kivelä, will be the keynote speaker. Pastor Timo Kälviäinen sends the Wreath Patrol to the hero's graves. The party ends with a joint song and the flag is removed. 

- The party will be celebrated exceptionally this year at Teatteri Imatra. Imatra scouts are also involved in the celebration, nurturing traditions, says event expert Sari Saarinen.
