The formula enabling the expansion of the Tainionkoski daycare center is underway

The city of Imatra has started the preparation of a plan that would enable the expansion of the plot and building rights of the Tainionkoski daycare center.

Although the guidelines for the reform of the service network regarding early childhood education are still partly unresolved, the preparation of the plan prepares for the possibility that the plot and building rights of the Tainionkoski daycare center may need to be enlarged at some point.

─ The preparation of the formula at this stage makes sense, because it enables agile progress of the service network project if necessary, project manager Mari Routti says.

Based on the preliminary estimated expansion need, the 0,72-hectare plot would be increased to 1,07 hectares in the plan preparation. The site of the current daycare center will then expand to the area owned by the city, in the direction of Peltosirkunkuja.

It is planned to increase the building right by 700 square meters.
